During the summer of 2008, while pursuing a undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Maurice started detailing cars during his summer breaks. What began as a part-time passion project quickly evolved into a craft that he couldn’t let go of.
Even while balancing the demands of his academic career as College Chemistry Instructor after graduation, Maurice continued to detail part-time, refining his skills and building lasting relationships with his clients. In time, life took a new turn—after he got married and as he and his wife prepared to welcome their first child, Maurice made the pivotal decision to pursue his passion full-time. Touchstone Detailing was born from a desire not only to provide exceptional service but also to create a business rooted in integrity, community, and trust.
Maurice loves what he does. Detailing isn’t just a job—it’s his career and calling. He enjoys meeting new people, discovering different parts of the city every day through his mobile detailing services, and taking pride in earning his customers’ trust. Many of his clients have become friends, thanks to his unwavering commitment to delivering the highest level of care and service.
